Christmas season is here. It’s one of my favorite times of year. All the pretty decorations, the festive music, and the spirit of holiday cheer – what’s not to love? But as a single girl, it can be a bit of a challenge to feel included in this season that is heavily kid/family/spouse oriented. But don’t worry if you’re flying Santa’s sleigh without a co-pilot! You can still be fully invested in the good will that is the hallmark of the most wonderful time of year.
I recently found this Kindness Advent Calendar, and I absolutely love it. I’ve printed it out and have it hanging on my front door. (True story.) It is a few days into December, but it’s never too late to start. I look forward to hearing your stories of how you’ve adapted this idea to your Single Girl Christmas.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go run an errand for someone who needs help (Dec. 6), and while I’m out, I’ll probably scope out a few public places where I can place positive Post-It Notes (Dec. 9).
